Throughout 2017 NYLRF organisations will be attending events across the county to try and raise the message about personal resilience. Below are the confirmed dates and venues of the shows we will be attending this year.

North Yorkshire County Show - 18th June

The Emergency Planning Team will be attending the North Yorkshire County Show offering advice on being prepared for emergencies such as floods, severe weather or utility failures

Great Yorkshire Show - 11th - 14th July

We will have a multi-agency stand again this year at the Great Yorkshire Show. Come along to find out more about what we all do, how we work together in emergencies and how you, your family and business can prepare for potential emergencies.

Ryedale Show - 25th July

This will be the first year the Emergency Planning Unit will be attending the Ryedale Show, along with our Highways Safety Team, who are regulars at the show. We will be there all day offering advice to all ages on being prepared for emergencies and how to stay safe on the roads.

Thorton le Dale Show - 9th August

For the first time, North Yorkshire County Council Emergency Planning will be attending the Thorton le Dale Show along with the Road Safety Team. Why not pop along to see us to find out loads of useful information on road safety, personal and community resilience.

Whitby Regatta - 19th - 21st August

After the success of the last few year's, the team will be returning to Whitby Regatta. We will be there along offering advice on personal and community resilience, as well as road safety information from the Road Safety Team. Look out for us on the sea front in the big 95Alive van.

Wensleydale Show 27th August

For the third year running, NYCC Resilience and Emergencies and Road Safety team will be at the Wensleydale Show offering advice on a range of topics, why not come and see us to find out more.
